Gilbert developed extensive real estate experience, having worked on office development projects and running a division of Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York Leasing and Management Group. Fund business, which included three equity funds and a debt vehicle across a broad spectrum of property types throughout the United States. Gilbert was selected to be head of the U.S. platform investments, joint ventures and individual assets. Gilbert was a Managing Director and, from 2003 to 2007, was primarily responsible for acquisitions and asset management of the firm’s U.S. ![]() His recent experience includes AllianceBernstein and the J.E. ![]() Gilbert spent 17 years in real estate principal investing, investment banking and the real estate service business. Gilbert joined Artemis in February 2011 and is based in metropolitan Washington, D.C. He also sits on the Artemis Investment Committee. Gilbert is the President of Artemis and is responsible for developing and implementing its acquisition and asset management activities. ![]()
